A couple of hairdressers find their 20 year old relationship coming under strain alongside their deep devotion to their mothers.
It's hard to believe, but apparently 'Staircase' was shot entirely in Paris - all the street scenes were built on a backlot! I went onto a couple of internet sites about Paris studios & they say because Liz Taylor was filming "The Only Game In Town" in Paris she insisted that her husband film "Staircase" in Paris, not London! Regards Clive Turner.
