Escape (1948) - As Dora Winton (Peggy Cummins) tells Matt about her life the journey is halted at a level crossing... Nappers Crossing, on the Totnes to Ashburton South Devon Railway, a line still open as a preserved route, but only as far as Buckfastleigh. The steam loco is a 4500-series 2-6-2T of which one is preserved on the line, meaning that a 'now' photo should be a good one to recreate. With thanks to Jonathan Horswell. (SJ)
