priar009n. The former Royal Navy Air Station, Ford, originally the camp situated on the west side of the airfield, now The Peregrines estate. Stephen writes; As the camp on the Yapton side of the airfield had been transformed into a housing estate during the ‘80s I found the now locations by laying a wartime aerial photo over a modern map. Then with composite map, camera and compass returned to Ford. Now that's dedication!
