pol009a1n. But, like Roy, this kept me stumped for ages: is it fake dressing? The building is not on any old maps I've seen. SJ. An Insurance Plan of London dated May 1924 shows Irongate Wharf butted against Tower Bridge. It can be seen at Museum of London riverscape photos and also on Britain from Above. A contemporaneous shot (1951) can be seen on the excellent Website www.alondonhinheritance.com (April 2016) (RL)
