A sort of a northern "Carry On", a Whitehall farce set in canny Newcastle.

Glenn Aylett tells us that the high rise block of flats where Terry lived was called Willington Square in Howdon, Wallsend. The estate consisted of three 14 story blocks of flats and some low rise concrete blocks and had the local nickname of the "14ers". Thirty years after they were built the high rise blocks were demolished due to structural faults, lift failures and being hard to let. Nothing remains of the estate now he says.
