Photos lh 002/a/b are not of Bankside but the river front off Upper Thames Street on the North side of the River.  The alleyway is probably Trig Lane.  The bridge with the tram on ( tram...I see no trams) is Southwark Bridge, and the building you can see in the distance on the South side of the River is the Bankside Power Station, now Tate Modern, under construction. Richard Hills.
