Roger Cullingham, Editor of the Royal Windsor Website and Forum, as a result of forum posts suggests Eton College Quadrangle, but I cannot get the windows to match Internet photo's. According to Roger Cullingham and the RWWS Forum (see hire014) "The Avon Hotel" was actually, The Old House Hotel, Thames Street, Windsor, now the Sir Christopher Wren Hotel and Spa.
