ask002. Boyd, Sparv, Kemp all shot scenes here on Vorderstadt, Kitzbuhel.
ask003. Albert Embankment, London. Boyd is driven to Alembic House, now Peninsular Heights, a tried and tested location as the offices overlook Millbank Tower and the Houses of Parliament.
ask003n. This junction with Tinworth Street was also seen in The Intelligence Men and Jigsaw. SJ. (Modern Photo Added: 01-02-2013)
ask004. An additional screen grab provided by Greg Mishevski. Providing this screen grab, showing the end of the mews was the 2nd key point for the identifying the mews.
2 Inverness Mews, South London, SW1 is a fake address. In reality, it is 6 Lennox Gardens Mews, Knightsbridge, SW1X 0DP. The house number "6" is on the far left (the white front door). The house on the right is 20 Milner Street, Chelsea, SW3 2QF. Looking east/southeast towards 8 Lennox Gardens Mews. Discovered by Greg Mishevski. This is the same mews seen in Mix Me A Person (1962).
ask004n. Not quite a perfect proving match here but it's the right mews despite the redesigned lower floors. SJ (Modern Photo Added: 19-01-2013)
ask005. A mews, a telegram is addressed as Inverness Mews, South London but there's only one in Paddington so probably a red herring.
ask005n. Well, this is no6 today. SJ (Modern Photo Added: 01-02-2013)
ask006. MAC used to be Nine Elms.
ask006n. Richard Lovejoy sent in this image and informs "Plough Garage (Mac 4445) were at 30 South Side, Clapham Common near the corner of Crescent Lane. Nowhere to park now!" (Modern Photo Added: 07-06-2013)
ask007. Greg writes, "An additional screengrab provided by Greg Mishevski. Showing SW1 postcode area was the 1st key point for the identifying the mews."
Where is that lamp now?
ask008. An additional screen grab provided by Greg Mishevski who says, "Eliminating the whole area south of the river Thames (aka the "South London" reference) and at the same time showing SW1 postcode area was the 1st key point for the identifying the mews!"
But what should we show as a now? Perhaps a text!
ask009. Another shot of the garage, seen above in the MAC code area.
ask009n. Further confirmation from Richard who adds "Clearly their site had development potential". (Modern Photo Added: 07-06-2013)
ask010n. Whitehall Place just east of Scotland Place. SJ. (Modern Photo Added: 01-02-2013)
