Screen shots uploaded by Phil Wilkinson

The scenes in Runaway railway featuring a signal box with the mail train waiting were at Nr2 range box.

"Certainly a lot of the scenes of Matilda and the children on the footplate in the later part of the film were taken at Whitehill on the Hollywater loop around the area of Hopkins bridge and sidings.....proof, look for the power pylons in the background still there today." Chris Churcher June 2016
