Sink the Bismarck! 1960 Kenneth More, Laurence Naismith, Denholm Elliot, Dana Wynter, Carl Möhner, Karel Štěpánek Trafalgar Square, London
Director : Lewis Gilbert   Production Company : Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation  Region : LONDON R-S

Super action film about the search for and eventual destruction of the German battleship.

Why did More wander around Trafalgar Square on his way to the Admiralty? Why did he and Wynyard wander the same crooked path at the end of the film? What was the attraction of the National Gallery, which in 1941 was sandbagged? And why wasn't the statue of Charles 1st encapsulated in timber and sand? As shown in one of the films on site, but which one?

Screen captures uploaded by John Tunstill.
