cob001. Squint a bit and you can see the supports of Hammersmith Bridge. The film was made at the Riverside Studios, Hammersmith. So probably Queen Caroline Street and the corner of??Ship? Crisp Road, my A-Z is a bit fuzzy.
cob002. A factory?
cob003. Probably under Hammersmith Bridge.
cob004a. Well it can't be clearer than that. Hammersmith Bridge, for the dozenth time! And the shiney wall seen in cob001, a pub probably.
cob004an. Now. The corner of Queen Caroline Street and Crisp Road. There was a pub on the corner of the now non existent Ship Lane and Queen Street (as it was then known). SJ. (Modern Photo Added: 12-06-2009)
cob005a. Probably Leamore Street, but the lighting is strange for the close-up scenes, a set perhaps? Also the distance between the sets of railings isn't quite correct.
cob005an. Leamore Street, W6. Hope so, my book - "London Film Location Guide" - says so! SJ. (Modern Photo Added: 12-06-2009)
cob005bn. No 40. SJ. (Modern Photo Added: 12-06-2009)
cob005cn. And again. SJ. (Modern Photo Added: 12-06-2009)
cob006. An unpleasant part of Hammersmith 60 years ago.
