ct003n. Mike Connor advises 'This is a now shot showing what is left of the old Smithy in Shottenden, Kent. If you look on old-maps.com these buildings are marked as a Smithy. The building at the back has had a metal roof added, but is recognisable. Most other buildings have gone, but house where Mr Horton calls to 'mother' is still there. I'll get some proper photos when I am up in the area. This picture copyright Google Streetview.
